Hello,
I try to use this viewer as follows:
When I start the vdivc.exe I got the error: Palm DLLs not found. Check Palm installation.
YES I did't install the Palm Desktop and I do not want to do it.
next:
1- install vdi.prc in Palm M105
2- convert a small picture
3- install .pdb of the picture in palm
4- open vdi in palm and got the error: Error reading bitmap data
5- using the browse menu and checking the info for that picture I got:Name:test_png
info: 512x19778/1048576g
date: 13 Feb 2004 5:05

512x19778 - should be the pixel size - but wrong, because the image was 142x156
104857g - should be the color deepth but the image it was a .png with 8 bit grayscale

What did I do wrong?
How can I send you the picture and the .pdb I got?
I think is something wrong with the converter.

At the first glance it looks like everything you did is all right and this is a bug in the VD converter or viewer. You can send me the image and the PDB to den@okob.nospam.net (remove the 'nospam'). Thanks for reporting the problem.
