Title: Pan with the hand tool and image format Post by crash on May 9th, 2004, 5:41pm It could be nice if the panning could be done using the pen like the hand tool in desktop version of Acrobat Reader or in unwrapped view of Repligo viewer. I suggest this behavoir becuse I think it could be a lot more intuitive to use. About file compression what about PNG format? I think it is the best format for raster image of a map. Alessandro. |

Title: Re: Pan with the hand tool and image format Post by Denis Bakin on Aug 30th, 2004, 9:59pm Hi Alessandro, I'm releasing a new version of the VDIVC application. It is using "zlib" compression library - the same thing PNG format is using. This is the best option for now. It is widely used, ported to almost anything and totally patent-free... You are right it works great for schematics, maps and diagrams. The performance on unfiltered photos is quite unimpresive though, but I'll add some filtering eventually... |
