Title: Image size limitations Post by skram on Feb 2nd, 2005, 1:13pm I am using a Tungsten/T and the converted images are too small or faint to read. Is there a size limit for the original image file? |

Title: Re: Image size limitations Post by Denis Bakin on Feb 2nd, 2005, 10:58pm Teoretically the images under about 32000x32000 should be handled ok if there is enough memory to load them. The max one I used was a little bigger than 2000x2000. |

Title: Re: Image size limitations Post by Ou_Boet on Mar 29th, 2005, 5:11pm My image size is OK, but I've also noticed that images are faint when viewed on my HE330 (16 greys). Dennis is there a way to make them darker? OB |

Title: Re: Image size limitations Post by Denis Bakin on Apr 3rd, 2005, 1:15pm You can try to convert and upload pure black on white picture. If this does not have enough contrast on your screen then it is the display problem and you can probably go to the PDA preferences and adjust brightness, otherwise you can try to load the original of the faint image into some graphics manipulation program and try to adjust its contrast before conversion. |

Title: Re: Image size limitations Post by Ou_Boet on Apr 14th, 2005, 11:30am Dennis Thanks for the reply. B/W wont work for maps, which is what I use VDI for the most. I'll try making the pics darker somehow before converting and see if that helps. I don't really want to play with screen settings as they are right for everything else on my HE Again, thanks for a great app OB |
